When I first started rapping, I realized I needed a “rap name.” I settled on Durasell (a play on my last name and removing the C so I wasn’t sued). Then, I found a pretty prominent Christian Rap artist with the same name, and knew I had to change it, but I didn’t get around to it until a little later. I came up with Fred-D, just for simplicity’s sake.
